Bundle selection and operation guide
Color: Select Deep Blue or Cosmic Orange for the Sora 30 robot.
iSkim: Choose this surface skimmer for essential solar assisted cleaning, a 9 liter basket, up to 28 hours of operation without sunlight, and app connected edge parking.
iSkim Ultra: Choose this surface skimmer for S path navigation, side brushes, voice features, temperature detection, clarifier dispensing support, and magnetic wireless charging. iSkim Ultra provides approximately 18 to 20 hours of battery operation.
- Fully charge each robot on land with its supplied charging equipment, install the clean baskets, connect the Beatbot app, and select the intended cleaning mode.
- Select the appropriate cleaning mode for each unit.
- Operate each unit only within its stated depth, platform, and water chemistry limits.
- Retrieve Sora 30 after its underwater cycle and rinse both debris baskets as needed.
Care and ownership
- Remove and rinse both filter baskets after use or when debris limits water flow.
- Rinse the robots with fresh water and keep charging contacts clean and dry.
- Charge Sora 30 on land with its supplied equipment. Keep iSkim exposed to adequate sunlight for solar charging. Use adapter or magnetic wireless charging only when that charging method is supplied for the selected skimmer.
- Inspect the Sora 30 rollers, tracks, and intake and the surface skimmer paddle areas for trapped debris.
- Rinse and dry both robots before storage. Keep the robots and charging equipment in a cool, dry, protected location away from standing water and freezing conditions.
Quick troubleshooting
-
If Sora 30 does not start: Fully charge it on land, confirm the filter basket is seated correctly, and make sure the charging contacts are clean and dry.
-
If underwater pickup is reduced: Empty and rinse the Sora 30 basket, then clear the intake, rollers, and tracks.
-
If the surface skimmer changes course repeatedly: Empty its basket and clear debris from the paddle, intake, sensors, and water outlet areas. Wind, currents, and pool obstacles can affect the route.
-
If the app does not connect: Bring the relevant robot to the water surface or remove it from the pool, move the phone within connection range, and confirm Bluetooth and Wi Fi are available.
Frequently asked questions
Can both robots be used during the same pool care session?
They perform separate underwater and surface jobs. Keep swimmers out of the pool, maintain clear operating paths, place each robot within its stated depth limits, and retrieve each unit with its designated handle or parking function.
Does Sora 30 clean floating debris?
No. Sora 30 handles underwater cleaning. The selected iSkim unit handles floating surface debris.
What shallow area can Sora 30 clean?
Sora 30 cleans qualifying shallow areas from 8 inches deep and suitable platforms at least 3.3 × 3.3 feet. The approach must provide enough width, slope, and clearance for the robot to enter and exit.
Which iSkim option should I choose?
Choose iSkim for essential solar assisted surface cleaning and a longer listed operating window. Choose iSkim Ultra for its advanced route planning and added convenience features.
