Airpura F700DLX heavy-duty air purifier for formaldehyde and VOCs

The Airpura F700DLX Formaldehyde & VOC Air Purifier prioritizes maximum gas-phase filtration for demanding off-gassing applications. Its 26 lb enhanced activated-carbon bed is formulated for formaldehyde and a broad range of VOCs, while a HEPA Barrier captures particles after the carbon stage.

Best suited for: new construction, major renovations, new furniture or cabinetry, salons, workshops, offices, and other spaces with significant formaldehyde or VOC concerns; up to 2,500 sq. ft. at two air changes per hour with 8 ft. ceilings.

What this air purifier is used for

Choose the F700DLX when formaldehyde and heavy VOC emissions from construction materials, furnishings, flooring, adhesives, coatings, or ongoing work processes are the primary concern. Compared with the standard F700, the DLX configuration exchanges the full-size True HEPA filter for a much deeper carbon bed and HEPA Barrier, prioritizing chemical capacity over fine-particle filtration.

Where to place it

Place the portable floor unit in the room with the new material or strongest off-gassing source, while maintaining clear space around the intake and 360-degree outlet. If several closed rooms contain new materials, treat the highest-priority occupied room first or use appropriately sized units in each area.

  • Suitable for occupied rooms and work areas with persistent material or finishing odors.
  • Do not block the intake or clean-air outlet; open space around the unit supports circulation.
  • Use a grounded 120V outlet and select a higher speed during stronger off-gassing periods.
