Setup and operation guide

  1. Place the charging dock on a level, dry surface and fully charge the robot.
  2. Install the appropriate filter basket and optional clarification product for the planned cycle.
  3. Connect the Beatbot app and select the cleaning mode that matches your pool.
  4. Place the robot in the water and allow it to release trapped air before operation.
  5. Use automatic surface parking or the approved retrieval method after the cycle.

Care and ownership

  • Remove and rinse the filter basket after each cycle or sooner when heavily loaded.
  • Rinse the robot with fresh water after use, especially after operation in a saltwater pool.
  • Keep charging contacts clean and dry. Charge only on land using the supplied dock.
  • Inspect brushes, tracks, sensors, and intake areas for trapped debris before storage.
  • Install firmware updates through the Beatbot app while the robot is at the surface or out of the pool. Rinse, dry, and charge the robot before seasonal storage. Use only compatible ClearWater products in models equipped for clarification.

Quick troubleshooting

  • If the robot does not start: Fully charge it on land, confirm the selected filter basket is seated correctly, and make sure the charging contacts are clean and dry.
  • If pickup or water flow is reduced: Empty and rinse both filter components, then clear debris from the intake, roller brushes, side brushes, and tracks.
  • If wall or waterline coverage is inconsistent: Clean the brushes and tracks, confirm the selected mode includes those areas, and verify that the pool surface and geometry meet the operating requirements.
  • If the app does not connect: Bring the robot to the surface or remove it from the pool, move the phone within connection range, and confirm Bluetooth and Wi Fi are available.

Does AquaSense 2 Ultra clean the pool surface?

Yes. It supports water surface cleaning as well as floor, wall, and waterline cleaning.

Can I steer it underwater from the app?

Wireless signals are restricted underwater. Beatbot app controls and updates work according to the robot’s connection state and the current operating instructions.

Which filter basket should I use?

Use the supplied basket for general debris. Install only a compatible finer filtration accessory when finer material is present and the accessory is approved for this model.

Does the robot include water clarification products?

AquaSense 2 Ultra supports water clarification. Clarifier kits may be sold separately, so check current package contents before purchase.

AquaSense 2 Ultra includes a 3 year limited manufacturer warranty on the main unit in the United States and Canada. Coverage begins on the original purchase date and applies to defects in materials and workmanship during normal residential use. Valid proof of purchase and the product serial number are required for service. Filter baskets and roller brushes include 3 months of coverage; clarifying agent kits are not covered. Damage caused by misuse, unauthorized repair or modification, external conditions, nonapproved parts, commercial or rental use, or purchase from an unauthorized seller is excluded. Beatbot provides and administers this manufacturer warranty. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
