The Crystal Quest® filtration process combines targeted arsenic reduction with advanced SMART multimedia filtration to address a broad range of common water contaminants while improving overall water quality, taste, and clarity.
Stage 1: Arsenic Reduction
Water first passes through a specialized arsenic-reduction cartridge designed to help reduce arsenic from drinking water. This targeted filtration stage is specifically engineered for homes and businesses concerned about arsenic contamination in municipal or well water supplies.
Stage 2: SMART Multimedia Filtration
Next, water flows through Crystal Quest® SMART filtration media, a proprietary blend designed to tackle multiple contaminant categories simultaneously. This stage helps reduce:

• Heavy metals such as lead, copper, and aluminum
• Water hardness minerals
• Pesticides and herbicides
• Pharmaceutical by-products

- Leak Detector Valve: Used to detect a water leak within a water filter system and shuts down the water supply to prevent flooding.
- 12 GPM UltraViolet Water Sterilizer: Specifically designed to meet the demanding microorganism control concern. These microorganisms can range from bacteria and viruses to algae and protozoa. A major advantage of UV treatment is that it is capable of disinfecting water faster than chlorine without cumbersome retention tanks and harmful chemicals to your drinking water.
- Floor Mount Stand: This stand is a lightweight, powder coated aluminum frame to increase the durability of these systems. This will allow you to place the system anywhere and not drill any holes into the wall.

Due to numerous unpredictable circumstances including installation errors, flood-damage is subject to occur without a leak-detector valve. Including a leak-detector will allow the water system to be flood-proof.
