Airpura UV700 HEPA air purifier with UV-C for mold spores and airborne microorganisms

The Airpura UV700 Germ & Mold Air Purifier combines four complementary stages: prefiltration, an 18 lb activated-carbon filter, H13 True HEPA particle filtration, and an enclosed UV-C lamp. It is designed for broad particle, odor, chemical, mold-spore, and airborne-microorganism concerns.

Best suited for: basements, bedrooms, living areas, offices, waiting rooms, clinics, and other occupied spaces where particles, odors, mold spores, and airborne microorganisms are concerns; up to 2,500 sq. ft. at two air changes per hour with 8 ft. ceilings.

What this air purifier is used for

Choose the UV700 when you want high-capacity HEPA and carbon filtration plus UV-C treatment inside the purifier. The HEPA filter captures fine particles and mold spores; carbon adsorbs gases and odors; and the enclosed lamp adds UV-C exposure within the filtration chamber.

Where to place it

Place the UV700 as a freestanding floor unit in the occupied room or open area you want to treat. Keep the intake and 360-degree outlet unobstructed. The UV-C lamp operates inside the purifier; follow the official manual and disconnect power before filter or lamp service.

  • A central position supports circulation in a large open area.
  • For a known damp or odor-prone area, place the purifier nearby while keeping the unit itself dry and its airflow clear.
  • Use a grounded 120V outlet and follow the manual when replacing the lamp.

How the filtration system works

  1. A vacuumable poly prefilter captures larger airborne debris.
  2. An 18 lb activated-carbon filter adsorbs gases, chemicals, and odors.
  3. An H13 True HEPA filter captures 99.97% of airborne particles at 0.3 microns.
  4. An enclosed 16–18 watt UV-C lamp provides an additional treatment stage inside the purifier.
