What this air purifier is used for
The T600DLX focuses on smoke-related tars, gases, chemicals, and odors. The TarBarrier catches sticky tar particles before they reach the carbon filter, while the 26 lb carbon bed provides substantial contact area for odor and gas adsorption. The purifier supports indoor air-quality management but does not make smoking safe or replace ventilation, source control, smoke alarms, or fire-safety practices.
Where to place it
Place the purifier upright on the floor in the room where smoke enters or accumulates. Keep the lower intake and 360-degree outlet clear. For gas and odor adsorption, Airpura recommends operating the unit at low-to-medium speed when practical to increase contact time with the carbon media. Disconnect power before cleaning or filter service.
