Airpura UV700 HEPA air purifier with UV-C for mold spores and airborne microorganisms
The Airpura UV700 Germ & Mold Air Purifier combines four complementary stages: prefiltration, an 18 lb activated-carbon filter, H13 True HEPA particle filtration, and an enclosed UV-C lamp. It is designed for broad particle, odor, chemical, mold-spore, and airborne-microorganism concerns.
Best suited for: basements, bedrooms, living areas, offices, waiting rooms, clinics, and other occupied spaces where particles, odors, mold spores, and airborne microorganisms are concerns; up to 2,500 sq. ft. at two air changes per hour with 8 ft. ceilings.
Why choose this model
Choose the UV700 when H13 True HEPA, 18 lb of carbon and an enclosed UV-C stage are all priorities in a larger space. The UV600 uses the same four filtration stages with lower airflow, while the I700 prioritizes particle filtration and does not include a carbon filter.
What this air purifier is used for
Choose the UV700 when you want high-capacity HEPA and carbon filtration plus UV-C treatment inside the purifier. The HEPA filter captures fine particles and mold spores; carbon adsorbs gases and odors; and the enclosed lamp adds UV-C exposure within the filtration chamber.
Where to place it
Place the UV700 as a freestanding floor unit in the occupied room or open area you want to treat. Keep the intake and 360-degree outlet unobstructed. The UV-C lamp operates inside the purifier; switch off and unplug before filter or lamp service.
A central position supports circulation in a large open area.
For a known damp or odor-prone area, place the purifier nearby while keeping the unit itself dry and its airflow clear.
Use a grounded outlet matching the voltage on the unit’s label. Switch off and unplug before replacing the lamp.
How the filtration system works
A vacuumable poly prefilter captures larger airborne debris.
An 18 lb activated-carbon filter adsorbs gases, chemicals, and odors.
An H13 True HEPA filter captures 99.97% of airborne particles at 0.3 microns.
An enclosed 16–18 watt UV-C lamp provides an additional treatment stage inside the purifier.

Getting started and everyday use
Inspect the exterior for shipping damage and wipe away packaging dust with a damp cloth.
Keep the control switched off while plugging into a grounded outlet matching the voltage on your unit’s label.
Switch on and run at maximum for at least 30 minutes, then choose the operating speed.
For regular air quality maintenance, use continuous operation at a low speed. Adjust the speed as conditions require.
Keep indoor relative humidity around 40% to support carbon performance. When using a dehumidifier, keep it at least 6 feet from the purifier.
Cleaning and filter replacement
Switch off and unplug before cleaning. Use your vacuum’s brush attachment to clean the prefilter through the outside grille, moving slowly around the mesh surface. Clean monthly or more often when needed.
Replacing the carbon and particle filters
Switch off and unplug the purifier. Support the unit securely while turning it over to access the base.
Remove the four retaining screws, lift off the bottom cover and set aside the upper felt gasket. Keep the screws and gaskets for reassembly.
Remove the filters being replaced, noting the positions of the remaining filters and gaskets.
Place the lower felt gasket flat at the bottom of the chamber and position the outer prefilter or TarBarrier against the chamber wall.
Roll the filter slider into a spiral, insert it inside the outer filter and open its top into a slight funnel.
Hold the correct carbon canister straight and lower it through the slider. Lift the slider out with both hands, allowing the canister to settle at the bottom. Remove and retain the slider.
Insert the correct True HEPA or HEPA Barrier assembly inside the carbon canister. Retain any fitted particle wrap and its securing bands in their original positions.
Replace the upper felt gasket. Align the indentation in the bottom cover with the center of the particle filter, refit the cover and tighten all four screws.
Return the purifier upright. Reconnect power only after the filter chamber is closed, with the control switched off before plugging in.
Replacing the UV lamp
Switch off and unplug the purifier. Support the unit securely while turning it over to access the base.
Remove the four retaining screws, lift off the bottom cover and set aside the upper felt gasket. Keep the screws and gaskets for reassembly.
Move any filters needed for access, noting their positions.
Pull the old lamp upward out of its connector and press the compatible replacement lamp firmly into the connector.
Refit any filters removed for access in their original positions. Keep the lamp enclosed during operation.
Replace the upper felt gasket. Align the indentation in the bottom cover with the center of the particle filter, refit the cover and tighten all four screws.
Return the purifier upright. Reconnect power only after the filter chamber is closed, with the control switched off before plugging in.
