Airpura P700 Mold, Particle & Chemical Air Purifier

The Airpura P700 Mold, Particle & Chemical Air Purifier combines activated carbon, True HEPA filtration, UV light and TitanClean photocatalytic technology for airborne particles, chemicals and odors.

Best suited for: Homes and offices with airborne particle, mold spore, chemical and odor concerns.

Why choose this model

Choose the P700 when activated carbon, True HEPA, UV light and TitanClean photocatalytic technology are all priorities in a larger space. The P600 uses the same four stage approach with lower airflow, while the UV700 omits the TitanClean stage.

Choose your configuration

Choose Regular R600 coconut shell carbon or Super Gas 600 impregnated carbon. Both configurations include True HEPA, UV light and TitanClean.

Suggested coverage depends on room height, layout, airflow setting and indoor conditions. Use appropriate ventilation and source control alongside air cleaning.

Getting started and everyday use

  1. Inspect the exterior for shipping damage and wipe away packaging dust with a damp cloth.
  2. Place upright with the intake and outlet unobstructed. Keep the control switched off while plugging into a grounded outlet matching the voltage on the unit’s label.
  3. Switch on and run at maximum speed for at least 30 minutes, then select your operating speed.
  4. For regular air quality maintenance, run continuously at a low speed and adjust as conditions require.

Keep indoor relative humidity around 40%. Excessive humidity can affect carbon performance. Keep a dehumidifier at least 6 feet from the purifier.

Filter maintenance

Prefilter Vacuum monthly or more often as needed; replace after 12 months
Carbon filter Replace about every 2 years
True HEPA filter Replace about every 3 to 5 years
UV lamp Replace about every 18 to 24 months
TitanClean Replace about every 18 to 24 months

Replacement intervals are guidelines from the current user manual. Actual filter life depends on use and indoor conditions.

Cleaning and filter replacement

Switch off and unplug before cleaning. Use your vacuum’s brush attachment to clean the prefilter through the outside grille, moving slowly around the mesh surface. Clean monthly or more often when needed.

Replacing the carbon and particle filters
  1. Switch off and unplug. Support the purifier securely while turning it over to access its base.
  2. Remove the four retaining screws, lift off the bottom cover and remove the upper felt gasket. Keep the screws and gasket for reassembly.
  3. Lift out the filters being replaced, noting their positions. Position the prefilter against the filter chamber wall and place the lower felt gasket flat at the bottom.
  4. Unfold the filter slider, roll it into a spiral and insert it inside the prefilter. Open its top slightly to form a funnel.
  5. Hold the replacement carbon canister straight and lower it into the funnel. Pull the slider up with both hands so the canister settles at the bottom, then remove and retain the slider.
  6. Slide the correct particle filter into the center of the chamber.
  7. Replace the upper felt gasket. Align the indentation in the bottom cover with the center of the particle filter, replace and tighten all four screws, then return the purifier upright.
  8. Keep the switch off while reconnecting power.
Replacing the UV lamp

Switch off and unplug. Open the filter chamber using the steps above. Pull the lamp upward out of its connector, then push the correct replacement lamp firmly into the connector. Reassemble the chamber before reconnecting power. Never operate with the chamber open.
